About this sign

The Normal Is Boring LED Neon Sign delivers its statement in one uninterrupted line of clean capital lettering. Rounded forms keep the phrase approachable, while the long horizontal arrangement gives it the feel of a clear declaration across the wall. There are no extra illustrations to distract from the words.

Place it above a desk, along a studio wall or within a room that reflects your own tastes. The wide format rewards careful measuring, especially if it will sit between shelving or above a piece of furniture. Choose the size and colour from the options listed on this page to suit the intended position. The included remote and dimmer offer brightness adjustment so the message can stand out or sit more quietly within the room. Give both ends of the line some breathing space, and let the lettering provide a confident contrast to the objects around it.

Good to know

In the box: Your sign on a clear acrylic backboard, a 1.5 m clear cord with a power adapter and the plug for your country, the remote & dimmer, and your chosen mounting kit. Electrical approvals are issued against the power-supply model fitted to your sign — ask us and we will confirm them in writing.
Delivery: Free standard delivery. Allow 7–14 days from order to arrival — that includes making your sign. Couriered with signature on delivery.
Indoor or outdoor: Every design can be built either way and looks the same. Indoor is for dry indoor spaces. Choose Outdoor above for anywhere rained on, splashed or permanently humid: it swaps in outdoor-grade neon flex, a waterproof dimmer and an outdoor power supply sized to the sign. The IP67 rating applies to the neon flex, not the whole sign or its plug — ask us and we will confirm the rating for your build in writing.
Warranty: 24-month manufacturer warranty on electrical components when the sign is used as intended. An indoor sign used outdoors or somewhere wet is not covered.
Mounting: Backboards come pre-drilled. The wall mounting kit is free in silver, with black or gold finishes available above; a hanging wire kit or 3M tape can be added too.
Light & power: LED neon flex — lighter and tougher than glass, low energy, rated for 50,000+ hours.
Size & colour: Choose your width and the height follows this design’s proportions. 11 colours to choose from.
